I LOVE THE WHOLE POST, it's very healing and inspiring Ilan.✨️ and this one stood out in my heart—Your very own David carved not despite your hardships but because of your willingness to face them.😭❤️💯
I’m so glad it connected with you, Revathi. I truly think there’s a power to facing our struggle, even though it is of course, by definition— incredibly difficult and uncomfortable ! Wishing you all the best for the coming year 🤍
Great post brother. It's an interesting paradox you've put your finger on . . . Reminds me of when Joe Rogan said something about how he wants his kids to be interesting, but all the interesting people he knows have gone through some hardships he wouldn't want his kids to have to endure. Such is the nature of life, I guess!
Good old Rogan haha! That’s true, I’ve also heard, the lower your lows are, the higher your highs can be. It’s a similar sentiment that sounds good but isn’t exactly as easy/comfortable in its experience. Thanks for reading bro
"The pride that comes from overcoming hardships is knowing the sheer weight of hardship itself!" - Ilan this was beautiful. And it resonated very deeply - thanks again for another great post. I love what you said about artists alchemising sorrow and pain into the gems that become their creative products. And I think you're definitely right to use "alchemy" - because, ultimately, you're turning something painful into a source of joy. A pleasure to read as always broski ✨️🙏🏿
